Our soldiers deserve our appreciation and our respect for all they have done for us. They are willing to put their lives on hold and on the line to defend our country and our freedoms. To all of the men and women who have served in the military and to the servicemen and women active here and abroad thank you for your service!

A few weeks ago David Dewhurst announced he is running for re-election for another term as Lt. Governor. This surprised many political pundits across the State of Texas.
Dewhurst has the money, the connections within the Texas Republican Party. Dewhurst will crush any opposition and win re-election easily.
It is still not for sure what Dewhurst is going to do, but whether he runs for Senate or re-election he has enough going in his favor to win.
Earlier today Senator Cornyn was elected Chairman of the NRSC!
This is great news for us in West Texas and for all of the Lone Star State!
Word is that his campaign manager, Rob Jesmer, will be Executive Director of the organization. I receieved Rob’s e-mails throughout the campaign and feel he’s a great choice. I hope the NRSC will continue reaching out to blogs and using technology to get their message across to voters across the country.
