As I am sure most of you know tonight is Game 5 between the San Antonio Spurs (50-32) and Dallas Mavericks (55-27). As the series stands right now the Spurs have a commanding 3 to 1 series lead, looking to close it out tonight in Dallas. Will they do it?
Sorry Spurs fans (and I’m one of them), but tonights it’s all about the Mavericks. Expect the Mavericks to come out shooting on fire, getting Jason Terry involved early and often.
I expect Terry, who picked it up in the fourth quarter of the last game, to have an astounding game.
PREDICTION: Dallas 104 Spurs 91

Being a UT grad and avid sports fan I am more then excited in tonight’s showdown in Austin, when the University of Texas takes on Big 12 rival Oklahoma. With both teams floundering tonight’s game gives each team a chance to pad their resume in hopes of getting into the NCAA Tournament next month.
PREDICTION
With the Longhorns coming off a disappointing loss to A & M, and going 3-4 in their last seven, I believe UT will be able to make a huge statement tonight and top the sooners 85-77. I expect Texas bigman Dexter Pittman to compliment his 17 points with 12 boards.

With the big game in less than an hour I thought I’d give your my thoughts.
FINAL SCORE: Colts: 34 Saints: 27
MVP: Peyton Manning (27-36 for 289 yards) 3 TD 1 INT
As you should know, the spread is -3.5 for the Colts. As you can see I am taking the Colts by more than the spread. It is the combination of Peyton Manning being an absolute machine with all the Colts wide-receivers (Clark, Wayne, Garcon, Collie,) which allows Manning to capture his second title.
At half I believe the Saints will be up by at least three points but the Colts will come out in the second half, as they have all season, and shutdown Brees and the Saints.
